WALTHAM WOODS, JOPPA/HARFORD RD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT NEWS

Waltham Woods Road Resurfacing

The County is now in the process of fully resurfacing Waltham Woods Rd. This has been a multiyear effort by my office, and I am very thankful for the partnership we have with DPW. The whole road has been milled and the first level of asphalt is being applied. Utility work and the final layer still need to be done to complete this project. It extends from Cub Hill to Joppa Rd. Baltimore County DPW hopes to have it completed by mid-November. (Weather permitting).

MD 147 at Joppa Road Intersection Improvement Project

The long-planned project to alleviate congestion at the Joppa and Hartford Road intersection has commenced. Please click on the following link to see plans and timelines

My deepest appreciation goes out to MD SHA who has spearheaded the project for soliciting input from all community stakeholders and elected officials.
