As an advocate for the National Aquarium, I fully support Baltimore County’s partnership. I am pleased to share this announcement from Mr. Fredericksson that the Aquarium is offering a time of free admission to selected constituents impacted by COVID. A big Thank You to the Aquarium for providing this opportunity. Mr. Fredericksson’s letter and details for registration follow.
In appreciation of Baltimore County’s support for the National Aquarium, we are pleased to offer an exclusive event for County residents.
Beginning next week, your constituents may register online [http://aqua.org/shellebration] or by phone (410-576-3800) for the National Aquarium’s School Shell-ebration, happening June 17 from 6-9pm. During our School Shell-ebration, we are offering complimentary Aquarium access to students, educators, caregivers, and families who persevered and found scholarly success online, in the classroom—or both—during the ups and downs of the 2020-2021 academic year.
Advance registration for timed entry is required. Ticket reservations will begin on May 17 for educators, students, and their families. Reservations will close on June 15, 2021 or when capacity is reached. During this event, the National Aquarium will be following all safety protocols including mandatory face coverings and capacity restrictions. For more information on how we are keeping guests safe, visit our website, National Aquarium – Plan Your Visit.
We are excited to celebrate all the wonderful students, educators, caregivers, and families who have worked so hard this past year. We are thankful for Baltimore County’s continued support, which makes exclusive events like this possible.
