Despite the robust and active membership of the current Hereford Senior Center, it is only open two days a week because its current location is on the second floor of the Hereford Volunteer Fire Department (rented space). Having a new permanent space that is open on a regular basis will provide north County’s seniors the enrichment, resources, and activities that so many enjoy in other portions of the County.

My deepest appreciation goes out to the County Executive for recognizing this tremendous need, and for working together with the community and me to see this long-held dream become a reality.
