On Thursday afternoon, I formally filed for reelection for Baltimore County Council, District 3. It has been the honor of my life to serve as your Councilman and I am proud of all that we have achieved together over the past three years. With your support this coming June and November, we will continue to make this District the best place to live in Baltimore County.
Working in partnership with the many communities my office serves, we have secured once in a generation investments in high school construction, senior centers, broadband expansion, and recreational facilities.
The voices of community associations have been empowered on matters concerning development, and my office’s commitment concerning effective constituent service has never been stronger.
We’ve also made Baltimore County Government more accountable with the creation of the Office of Inspector General and the passage of significant ethics reforms, all-the-while fighting for fiscally responsible and sustainable budgets.
There is more work to do however, and working together, we will build upon the progress we’ve made. I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail. – Wade
